We
are pleased to invite you to attend the
3rd European Congress on Hematologic Malignancies:
From Clinical Science to Clinical Practice,
to be held 23-25 February 2007 in Athens,
Greece. The focus of this Congress is to
provide a forum to review the state-of-the-art
and present new data on the diagnosis and
management of myeloma, lymphoma and related
disorders as well as to give attendees the
opportunity to exchange ideas with world-renowned
opinion leaders. Last year’s Congress,
held in Barcelona, was attended by more
than 650 hematologists and oncologists from
48 countries, most of whom are directly
involved in patient care. Their highly positive
review of the educational content, quality
of the speakers, and presentation excellence
attests to the overall satisfaction of the
attendees and the value of continuing with
a comprehensive update on hematologic oncology
management.
To
complement the exceptional scientific experience,
Athens offers the perfect setting for enjoyable
after-hours relaxation. There are few places
that evoke such a heady sense of cultural
romance as Greece. The cradle of Western
thought, literature, art, architecture and
democracy gave birth to such beauties as
Homer’s The Iliad, Sophocles’
Oedipus the King, the teachings of Plato
and Socrates, the Parthenon, Zorba, the
Olympics and souvlaki. It is a cultural
red-carpet which Greeks are justifiably
proud to roll out. We hope you will join
us in this beautiful and historic city for
a stimulating and enjoyable conference.
