| Dear Colleague,
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us for Perspectives in Melanoma XI. This fall’s conference, October 3-4, 2007 in Huntington Beach, California, promises to be an outstanding educational event.
Last year’s meeting in Noordwijk, The Netherlands welcomed over 700 attendees from 34 countries, and we expect this year’s meeting in the U.S. will build on this international success. With an interactive and exciting scientific agenda lined up, it will be a valuable educational experience for all melanoma-related disciplines.
Perspectives in Melanoma XI will provide an overview of recent advances and rigorous discussions of the most current and controversial topics in the fields of melanoma diagnosis and therapy. Led by authorities and current investigators in the field, the program will expand several of the most promising new leads from the bench to the clinic.
The conference will be held on the Wednesday and Thursday directly preceding SWOG’s annual meeting, so be sure to schedule a few extra days out of the office to attend both meetings.
We look forward to seeing you for what is certain to be a rewarding and dynamic experience; your diverse perspectives and contributions add immeasurable value to this international program!
Sincerely,
John M. Kirkwood, MD
