This Congress is intended for neuro-oncologists, radiation oncologists, neurosurgeons and other healthcare administrators in active clinical practice involved and or interested in CNS tumors and/ or secondary brain metastases. No specialized knowledge is required for participation other than basic familiarity with the principles of cancer biology and neurobiology.

  O B J E C T I V E S .

After successfully completion of this activity, attendees should be able to:

  • Comment on the latest trends in diagnostics and prognostics for CNS malignancies
  • Discuss state-of-the-art advancements in neurosurgery for CNS malignances
  • Evaluate novel treatment strategies and emerging agents for the management of gliomas
  • Describe the heterogeneity within tumor types and the key factors to consider when developing individual patient treatment plans
  • Recognize controversies associated with the management of some CNS malignancies
  • Develop a plan for the incorporation of findings from recent clinical trials into daily clinical practice, particularly with regard to the management of gliomas
