This meeting is intended for urologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare providers involved or interested in the management of renal, bladder, and prostate cancer. No specialized knowledge other than a basic familiarity with the principles of oncology is needed to participate in this event.

  O B J E C T I V E S

After successful completion of this course, attendees should be able to:

  • Comment on the newest trends in imaging and use of biological markers to improve the diagnosis and prognosis of renal, bladder, and prostate cancers
  • Implement state-of-the-art surgical advancements in renal, bladder, and prostate cancers
  • Evaluate the use of immunotherapy and targeted therapies in metastatic renal carcinoma
  • Debate the use of PSA screening for the detection of prostate cancer
  • Compare and contrast systemic therapy regimens for hormone-sensitive and hormone-refractory prostate cancer
  • Employ the use of targeted therapies in prostate cancer
  • Improve bladder cancer survival via clinical and pathologic predictors
  • Discuss therapeutic options to manage BCG toxicity and/or BCG failure in patients with bladder cancer
  • Review the role of intravesical chemotherapy in bladder cancer and describe the optimal agent, timing, and dose of administration
  • Discuss updates in systemic therapy for bladder cancer
