  W H O   S H O U L D   A T T E N D ?
This educational program is intended for medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, researchers, and other healthcare professionals interested in novel agents targeting integrins for the management of solid tumors including melanoma, colorectal, and prostate cancer. No special training other than basic knowledge of oncology is necessary for successful participation in this program.
  O B J E C T I V E S

After successful completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the application of targeted therapy and the potential for reducing adverse events currently associated with treatment delivery.

  • Describe the biology of cancer progression, including the role of the integrin alpha-v, beta 3 in metastasis and angiogenesis.

  • Analyze the data to support the use of antiangiogenesis therapy in patients with colorectal and prostate cancer and melanoma.
