- Describe
the
basic concepts
of immunotherapy
and how
each type
can be
used as
a treatment modality in
oncology

Discuss

role
immune
tolerance
plays
in
allowing
the
growth
and
spread
of
cancer
cells

Explain

specific
role
of
CTLA-4
in
maintaining
immune
tolerance
and
how
inhibiting
its
function
can
be
used
in
the
treatment
of
malignant
melanoma
-
Compare
and
contrast
emerging
biological
agents,
primarily
vaccines
and
cytokines,
that
are
used
to
stimulate
and
target
a
patient’s
own
immune

against
a
tumor
