After successful completion of this course, attendees should be able to:
- Provide an overview of melanoma genetics, epidemiology, and currently accepted management practices
- Analyze the rationale for novel targeted agents directed towards modulation of the immune response to melanoma
- Identify the clinical characteristics of CTLA-4 monoclonal antibodies including antitumor activity, kinetics of response and the nature of associated immune-related adverse events
- Describe case studies illustrating expected clinical characteristics of anti-CTLA-4 therapy and guidelines for management of associated immune-related adverse events
