It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend the 2nd Annual Perspectives in Urologic Oncology: A Case-Based Conference to Enhance Patient Management of Prostate, Renal and Bladder Cancer to be held September 5-6, 2008 in Chicago, Illinois.

This conference will be a forum where urologists and medical/radiation oncologists can come together to learn and share their clinical experiences through both lecture presentations and interactive case discussions.

Our panel of world-renowned experts will touch on the most significant aspects of prostate, renal, and bladder cancers. We will discuss the status of the latest treatment modalities as well as emerging approaches to therapy. The meeting will delve into the areas of controversy through vigorous discussion and debate using information from clinical trials as applicable.

their strong therapy area experience and ability to communicate effectively.

  • Implement state-of-the-art surgical advancements in renal, bladder and prostate cancers
  • Improve adherence to the recently updated NCCN kidney cancer guidelines
  • Improve patient stratification for front-line use of targeted therapies in stage IV or unresectable advanced renal cell carcinomas
  • Debate the use of PSA screening for the detection of prostate cancer
  • Compare and contrast systemic therapy regimens for hormone- sensitive and hormone-refractory prostate cancer
  • Employ the use of targeted therapies in prostate cancer
  • Discuss therapeutic options to manage BCG toxicity and/or BCG failure in patients with bladder cancer
  • Review the role of intravesical chemotherapy in bladder cancer and describe the optimal agent, timing, and dose of administration
  • Integrate combination and sequencing strategies to improve upon current patient outcomes in renal, prostate and bladder cancers

Cancellation
