Who Should Attend
This educational activity is intended for gynecologists, medical oncologists, radiation therapists, surgical oncologists, pathologists, and other practitioners involved in the diagnosis and management of ovarian cancer.
Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Access the advantages and disadvantages of current and emerging treatment strategies for patients with untreated ovarian cancer
- Discuss the use of novel agents in the maintenance/consolidation setting in terms of patient outcomes
- Summarize the most appropriate treatment algorithm for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer
- Analyze emerging data evaluating the benefits and limitations of using non-platinum or platinum doublets in patients with platinum-sensitive disease
