Invitation
Dear Colleague,
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that we invite
you
to attend the 14th Annual Perspectives in Breast Cancer conference. Over the past 14 years, this meeting has
become a dynamic forum for healthcare providers in breast cancer research and treatment to increase their knowledge and share their challenges and successes in disease management and patient care.
Significant media and medical attention to this disease has stimulated research dedicated to the detection, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of breast cancer. As a result, our knowledge of the etiology and mechanisms of the disease has unfolded at a highly accelerated pace. We are encouraged by the recent FDA approval of another monoclonal antibody to further expand the treatment options for women with metastatic breast cancer.
The abundance of available data in this rapidly evolving field can make it difficult for practitioners to extract out quality research and pertinent data. Therefore, this conference is designed to provide you, as a practicing clinician, with a comprehensive overview of this important and evolving field. Our faculty, comprised of leading clinicians and researchers in breast cancer, will provide the latest information on state-of-the-art developments from the leading cancer centers and academic institutions.
Please join us in New York for what promises to be a rewarding professional update.
Sincerely,
Ruth M. O'Regan, MD
Christy A. Russell, MD
