Letter from the Chairs

Dear Colleague,

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that we invite you to attend the 10th Annual Perspectives in Colorectal Cancer. We are pleased to welcome John L. Marshall, MD, the Clinical Director of Oncology for Georgetown University Hospital, Associate Director for Clinical Care of the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Chief of the Division of Hematology-Oncology, as our new Co-Chair for this meeting. Dr. Marshall specializes in cancers of the GI tract at all stages of the disease.

We are certain you will value the unique approach of this meeting in its coverage of a broad range of topics dealing with colorectal cancer. From genetics to the systematic continuum of care for patients of advanced disease, from screening to surgery and supportive care, from the optimal use of standard therapies to expert perspectives on emerging agents, the full spectrum of clinical management will be addressed.

Our ultimate goal is to provide you with the information needed to optimize care of your colorectal cancer patients and to direct your attention to those trends and evolutions that may affect your practice in the future.

We are sure you will find this meeting to be informative and enjoyable. We are looking forward to beautiful weather in August in Chicago!
