Dear Colleagues,
As President of the Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology (“GASCO”), I am delighted to invite you to GASCO’s Annual Meeting & Best of ASCO®, on September 10-11, 2010 at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta Hotel in Atlanta, GA.
On Friday during GASCO’s Annual Meeting, speakers will present the latest information on health care reform and the business and regulatory climate for oncology from the perspective of commercial health plans. Meeting discussion will include updates from Washington, D. C., the State of Georgia and trends in patient care management. All attendees are invited to attend a President’s Reception following the meeting. During the reception, GASCO has also arranged an opportunity for you to network with investigators from key oncology working groups
in Georgia
On Saturday, we are excited to host the Best of ASCO® – the only ASCO licensed highlights program to be held in Georgia this year. Chairs will be Ruth O’Regan, MD from Emory’s Winship Cancer Institute and J. Bancroft Lesesne, MD from Georgia Cancer Specialists. The nation’s top oncologists and hematologists will summarize and interpret the most clinically significant data released from the 46th Annual American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in order to determine ways in which current clinical practices should be modified for optimal patient care.
This program will further GASCO’s mission to remain a leader in providing, timely and high quality professional education to our constituents in the cancer care community. We hope you will join us September 10-11, 2010 in Atlanta for 2 days of outstanding education.
Sincerely,
Matthew Mumber, M.D.
