This educational activity is specifically designed for endocrinologists, urologists, internists, family practitioners, and healthcare professionals (physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists) with an interest in the comorbidities of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism and diabetes mellitus.
The focus of this Webcast is to increase the awareness among clinicians about patients with the comorbidities of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism and diabetes mellitus (with a focus on hypogonadism). In addition, this educational activity will provide information regarding the possible etiologies of diabetes secondary to hypogonadism and to elucidate the treatment options for patients with these comorbidities to resolve hypogonadism in male patients.
After successful completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss and elucidate the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes in patients with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism
- Evaluate and discuss the clinical presentation of patients with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism
- Review and implement treatment plans for patients with the comorbidities of type 2 diabetes and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism
